Free Attic Insulation Assessment & Written Quote
We come out, inspect your attic, measure the existing insulation, and hand you a written price before any work starts. No obligation, no pressure. If you want the quote emailed instead, just ask when you call.
Valid through March 31, 2027. Mention this offer when you call (562) 471-3972.
Seasonal Attic Tune-Up: Air Seal Check Included
We check the attic hatch, top plates, and any gaps around recessed lights where conditioned air escapes. This pairs well with older Long Beach homes where the original insulation has settled over time.

First-Time Customer Courtesy: Shoe Covers, Drop Cloths, and a Photo of the Clean-Up
Every visit includes shoe covers from the front door to the attic hatch, drop cloths across your hallway, and a photo of the clean-up before we leave. That’s not an upsell, it’s the Cedarwell Care Promise. But if this is your first call to us, we’ll also walk you through how the whole process works, step by step, before anything is scheduled.

Senior & Military Courtesy: Priority Scheduling
If you’re a senior or active-duty/veteran military, let us know when you call. We’ll prioritize your appointment window and make sure your written quote is ready the same day we visit. It’s a small thing, but it matters when you’re trying to plan around medication schedules or a deployment timeline.

How to Redeem
First, call (562) 471-3972 and tell the live person which offer you’re calling about. Second, we’ll book a visit that fits your schedule, and we’ll confirm the offer details before we hang up. Third, when the technician arrives, just mention the offer again. Your written price will reflect it before any work begins. That’s the whole process.
Why Thistledown Runs Specials the Way It Does
Thistledown is the soft fluff of the thistle, one of nature’s lightest insulators. The name is a promise about how carefully we work. Specials and coupons shouldn’t be a bait-and-switch, and they shouldn’t come with fine print that makes you feel like you need a lawyer to interpret them. That’s why every offer on this page is grounded in what we already do for free: written pricing, live answers, clean job sites, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If it’s not done right, we make it right.
What Long Beach Homeowners Should Know About Attic Insulation Costs
Attic insulation projects in Long Beach typically range from $1,500 to $4,500 depending on square footage, access, and product choice. Older homes in neighborhoods like Bixby Knolls or California Heights often have settled or thin insulation that needs topping off, while newer builds in East Long Beach may just need air sealing around the attic hatch. Whatever your situation, you’ll have your exact written number before we touch a rafter. Call (562) 471-3972 and we’ll get you sorted.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. The free attic insulation assessment and written quote carries zero obligation. You get the information, the measurements, and the written price. If you decide not to proceed, that’s fine. We’d rather you make an informed decision than a rushed one. Call (562) 471-3972 to book the assessment and mention which offer you saw on this page.
Yes. The free assessment and same-day service windows apply to spray foam insulation projects as well as traditional attic insulation. We carry Icynene and Demilec spray foam lines alongside our fiberglass and mineral wool options, so you’ll get a product recommendation matched to your home’s needs, not a one-size-fits-all pitch. You’ll still get a written price before we start, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise still applies.
We choose pet-safe insulation products where a choice exists, so the dog can be home during the job. That said, some spray foam applications require ventilation during installation, and we’ll tell you exactly what to expect before we start. If you have a particularly anxious pet, let us know when you call and we’ll schedule the work during a quieter window. We lay drop cloths across your hallway and wear shoe covers from the front door to the attic hatch, so the house stays clean, too.
Because the offer is confirmed on the phone before we ever step foot in your house, and it’s reflected in your written price before any work begins. That’s the no-hassle pricing standard at Thistledown Insulation Long Beach, and it’s been that way since 2003. Call (562) 471-3972, mention the offer, and you’ll see exactly what you’re paying before we start.
We serve all of Long Beach and the surrounding South Bay area. Belmont Shore, Naples, Bixby Knolls, California Heights, Wrigley, Los Altos, East Long Beach, and everything in between. If you’re within Long Beach city limits, we’re happy to come out. Call (562) 471-3972 and confirm your address with the live person who answers.
